Super Cutie Poochies!
I read a super cute quickie story about a dachshund who is stingy with kisses (until the HEA, of course!...hee hee). It's called Lucci The No Smoochie Poochie by Donna L. Sadd. This book is free right now on Amazon for prime members (Kindle version) and it is also available in print on her website. There are some adorable illustrations of her family members and their cutie pie doxies. Loved it!
Here's a photo of her real dachshunds....Lucci, Zoe and CoCo Bellini!
Another favorite doxie book is The Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey. For folks who love dachshunds, this book is a must-have. My kids read it about a million times when they were little. (Just in case you're wondering, the plot involves a weenie dog named Oscar who has to wear a super humiliating Halloween costume).
Any other suggestions for favorite dog books? Let me know!
Have A Weenie-licious Day,
Penelope

How cute!
Happy Spring.
How flippin' cutie!
I love weenie dogs! And we have Halloweenie - it's still up on my 16 year's old book shelf!
Hi Amber! It's more like summer than spring right now...I'll take it!
Hi Juju....they are so squeezzzzzable!
Hi Casey.....Isn't that a great book? I read it to my daughter's class one year for Halloween. They loved it!
Penny, excuse my newbie lack-of-know-how but what the heck is HEA? I know I'm missing something!
For everyone else...here's a cute, NEW little story doggie story that I wish you would read to your kiddles!
Donna--- you are obviously a romance reader newb! HEA = happily ever after (a happy ending), which is why I love romantic fiction. And it's also why I loved the ending of your super sweet story! I have the opposite problem with my doxie Lucy--she won't stop kissing us!
So cute! I have no favorite animal books because they usually end in tragedy. Maybe Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Hi Julia....just say no to animal stories that end in tragedy...NOOOO!!!! Don't like those. At all. Lucci is all about happy...:^)
