Valentine Treats!

Looking for something sweet? Try these...

1. Adorable felted heart bowl from theFelterie at Etsy!

2. Watch the Westminster Kennel Club Agility competition on Valentine's Day. I'm super bummed we had to cancel our trip to NYC because of bad weather, but we can all watch on TV! Yipppeeee!

3. Wanna get some chi chi chocolates for your sweetie? These look good!
Expensive, but good!

4. Try a different kind of flower/plant.
Red roses are sort of boring.
How about peonies, daffodils, fragrant stock?
Try something different this year!

5. Read an oldie but goodie romance novel, with a gentle giant of a hero.

Preacher is the most wonderful hero! Swoony!

HAPPY VAL DAY TO ALL!

2 Weeks Until Penelope's Valentine Celebration!

Starting on Monday, Feb. 8, Penelope is hosting a week-long celebration for the most holy of all romance holidays....St. Valentine's Day! I will be giving away Amazon gift cards, gourmet chocolates, doing mini reviews of my favorite romantic stories, and posting a quiz on romance heroes. Oh yeah, I'll also be discussing a rather serious topic...the MRB (Most Romantic Beard). Hope you'll join me.

Wondering if my hubby is going to splurge on a kick-ass floral arrangement,
Penelope

Valentine's Day Contest

To celebrate the most holy of all romance holidays (Valentine's Day!), Penelope is running a contest this week.  What is the most romantic book you have ever read? Leave a comment with the name and author of this love-inspiring book, and you might win a free paperback novel (value of $15.00 or less) of your choice from Amazon. Be sure to leave your name/email address so I can contact you if you win.  (If you're not comfortable leaving your email in a public post, then email me directly.) Penelope thinks that Mary Balogh is the most romantic author there is, and that Simply Love may be the most romantic book of all time. Happy Valentine's Day...I look forward to hearing about your favorite books!
With a loving heart, Penelope
