The Romance Alphabet

My seven year old daughter inspired this. We were playing the alphabet game with food, and I thought...hmmm, I wonder if I can do an alphabet with romance stuff....

A is for alpha male.
B is for breathless. (and beards....hee hee)
C is for chemistry.
D is for destiny.
E is for elegant.
F is for fervent.
G is for gentle giants.
H is for heartbreak.
I is for impetuous.
J is for juicy.
K is for Kindle.
L is for lust.
M is for menage.
N is for nibble.
O is for obsession.
P is for plump.
Q is for quarrel.
R is for ravage.
S is for sensual.
T is for trembling.
U is for urgency.
V is for vampires.
W is for wicked.
X is for xiphoid. (means sword-shaped....get it? hee hee)
Y is for yearning.
Z is for zealous.

Have any favorite romance words? Let me know!

Hi Penelope,
I love this and immediately started thinking of words I would choose! I'd change some of them:
C is for courtesan,
G is for governess,
H is for hessians,
I is for ingenue,
M is for musicale,
P is for passion.
R is for rake, and ravished
S is for seduction
V is for vixen

Hi Heather! Those are great ones for historical romance. You are obviously a historical romance reader. How about T is for ton!

Yes I am a huge fan of historical romance! That's all I read. And I woke up this morning thinking of more! T for Ton is perfect, how did I not think of that?
And C is also for corset, and D is for Duke, and H is for Hyde Park....
and I can't seem to stop myself!!!
I think you should do one for each category of romance; historical, paranormal, and contemporary.
