Two weekends ago I got to sit in a workshop by Marie Force and Shelli Stevens on indie publishing. Learned a ton, including you need to WRITE! Authors who make it big in indie have INVENTORY.
Marie said she shoots for seven books a year. During Q&A someone asked if she foresees a time when she'll take a break and write, say, three books a year. Marie said no. Wow. That's what I call dedication.
Off to work on my measly second book of the year... Have fun at the Symposium!

Hey Julia! It was great, but exhausting. Will write about it this week. And I'll call you soon!
Thanks, Jessi! Marie is a powerhouse. Her commitment to her career is totally inspiring!
Have fun. I was just watching Moonrise Kindgom and thinking I need to visit R.I.
