It's a day for ham and eggs and pancit (our favorite Filipino dish) and "peeps." Yuck! My kids asked for them, so I put them in their Easter baskets, but seriously. Peeps! Ack!
Hope everyone has a great day. It is sunny and gorgeous and spring-y here.
Yippeeeeee!!!!!
Happy Day,
Penny

I am so glad that I am the only one who doesn't care for Peeps!! Today means Porgies and special Polish borsche that my Grandma makes once a year. I can't wait. :)
Hope you have a great day!
I didn't have any ham OR peeps. :::(
Hi Colette! Blech! I hate peeps. I cannot believe folks eat those.
Sounds like you had a delish Easter meal. Yum!
Tasha--oh no! I hope you had a fun, hipsterish day anyway. :^)
Happy Easter to you too Penny! I hear ya on the Peeps. My SIL got some for my kids (who have problems with cavities!) and I tossed them in the trash as soon as she left. My little ones are too young to remember them. When they're older, I think I'll tell them horrifying stories about Peeps. The sad thing is, I won't have to make them up. I'm almost positive there have been Peep related deaths. I need to do some research...or I could just tell auntie to knock it off with the Peeps and buy cady with SOME nutritional value ANY nutritional value.
I was craving peeps too. Sadly I didn't get any.
Hope it was awesome.
We had a great day with family. :)
Hi Jessi! Easter is tough. I try to fill the baskets with lots of little toys and maybe just one small box of candy. Otherwise, it gets totally out of control!
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Peeps contained some sort of plastic material. Plastic + Sugar + Yellow Food Coloring. That's it! Ack!
Hi Juju! So glad you had a good holiday with the fam!
