I am lucky to live close to a wonderful organic garden and farm stand, called Land's Sake in Weston, Massachusetts. At different times of the growing season, they have pick your own raspberries, peas, etc. They also have pick your own flowers, which is a huge treat for my daughter. Yesterday I took Natty and one of her pals to pick flowers.
It was a glorious day and an excellent reminder to live in the moment.

Lovely! One of the things I enjoy most about living in Florida is going to the farmers market every week, all year round. I love to see the seasons change by what's on my menu.
Right now we're eating a lot of squash, eggplant, tomatoes and melons, but soon the Muscadine and Scuppernong grapes will be in season. Mmmm....
Hi Darlene! Land's Sake had gooseberries yesterday, so I bought some. They were delicious...juicy and a bit tart. Yum! I love farmer's markets, too.

Hi Juju! It was wonderful! I got a little bit teary watching the girls run around the fields of flowers with the butterflies. It was so sweet.
