Congratulations on staying healthy! Medical scares are great motivators in the beginning, but you have to have that will deep within you to continue on as you have. I am toasting you with a glass of water right now! Keep up the good work!

Denise! Here's a hot tip for yummy water (do I sound like a dork?)...I put a slice of orange in a glass, and sometimes a sprig of fresh mint from my garden, and then fill it up with ice and cold water. Makes drinking plain old water a bit more fun and tasty!

Hi Nancy...thanks! Hope all is well in the Burgh!

Congratulations on your continued survival.

You may never know how big a motivator your heart attack has been to others. I've actually been thinking about it a lot lately. If it can happen to you, it can happen to me and that is quite motivating in many directions.

Thank you, Tom! You take care of yourself, too!

Geek...I'm glad to hear that! I think most women put themselves at the bottom of the totempole in their lives...partners, kids, jobs, family all come first, and we come last. We need to put our health, happiness and well-being FIRST so that we can be good to others. Be good to ourselves, too. You have to re-train yourself to think selfishly and realize it's okay. :^)

Congratulations on not dying - long may it continue!

In fact, try being immortal. That'd be cool.

Scarlett...I could turn into an immortal sparkly forever-teenage vampire!
