If I ever tried to put a humiliating costume like this on Lucy, she would probably bite me!
HAPPY HALLOWEENIE!
In spite of an oddball start to her professional career (advanced ivy league degree in turfgrass science, biology teacher who used Arnold Schwarzenegger movies as teaching aids, and highly competitive lacrosse coach who often yelled “Jiminy Cricket!” during games), Penelope finally settled into an acceptable field. Romance. Now she reads it. Writes it. Reviews it.
Penny's favorite things include plants, weenie dogs, and beards (not necessarily in that order). She welcomes comments and suggestions, which should be addressed t0 penelope.romance@gmail.com.
Happy romance reading!

I loooove putting sweaters on my little dog ;) He has this very sparse soft hair that offers no warmth. And it doesn't hurt that he looks so cute in his sweaters.
Happy Halloween :D
Hi Juju! I used to put sweaters on Rudy...my short-haired weenie dog. She would actually roll her eyes when I did it! Heee! But she did look really cute.
Oh, I was hoping that was Lucy! Dang! I don't know what Jake's wearing tonight. Maybe an S.F. Giants sweatshirt since the colors are orange and black.
I was hoping that was Lucy too. I can't get costumes on our dogs, they'd try chew them off each other. :)
Lucy did not do too well last night. I had to kennel her. She got freaked out by all the visitors and scary costumes and started snarling. (OK....an 8 lb. weenie dog isn't that scary, but still....). Maybe next year I'll force her to wear an Oscar Meyer hot dog costume in penance.
