imnotmyselftonight: E a barba, tá boa?...

In spite of an oddball start to her professional career (advanced ivy league degree in turfgrass science, biology teacher who used Arnold Schwarzenegger movies as teaching aids, and highly competitive lacrosse coach who often yelled “Jiminy Cricket!” during games), Penelope finally settled into an acceptable field. Romance. Now she reads it. Writes it. Reviews it.
Penny's favorite things include plants, weenie dogs, and beards (not necessarily in that order). She welcomes comments and suggestions, which should be addressed t0 penelope.romance@gmail.com.
Happy romance reading!

I've never read any of the books or seen the movies. I'll give ya the beard. He doesn't look half bad. :)
I haven't read the books (I'm not a big YA fan), but I watched the first movie with my 8 year old daughter, and we were spell-bound by the badness.
But the beard is adorable!
I saw something about him this morning. I didn't realize he was Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. Always thought that guy was cute, but didn't put 2 & 2 together.
Hmm. Did not know that. He is pretty cute. But he looks wack as a sparkly vampire. And w/ the white make-up and contacts. Def. prefer him with the shaggy beard!
Penn- you should come up on the 18th to come to the day show w/ me and my pals. No screaming teens. I am concerned that they seem to have reverted to the make up artist that made them all sickly. My concerns are petty. S
Steph....you are not actually going to the premiere of that movie, are you? I can only imagine the insanity! Teens dressed up as pale, sparkly vampires w/ fake teeth and blood. OMG!!!! Be careful!
While I love the series and enjoy the films, I'm a Jacob girl. However I must say - he looks hot with a beard.
On a different note: I subscribed to Lumberjack Erotica by email and I'm in love. Thank you for sharing them with us. I loved opening my email this morning to find a few juicy slices of heaven in my inbox.
PS I'm going opening day early in the morning while the kiddos are at school.
Juju....you, too? I can't believe you guys are all going to the premiere of this movie. Maybe I should reconsider and do this.
Also, some of those lumberjack erotica pics are naughty! Beware! Beware! hee heee
Hmm, I never really thought he was that attractive (and I haven't seen the movies, although I have read all of the books), but I gotta say, that beard ROCKS! Maybe the problem is that without it he just looks like a pretty boy, whereas with it, he's finally looking like a man.
He has great bone structure and the beard makes him look like a man, not a kid.
Spellbound by the badness is a great way to put it.
The first book has its appeal.
The second book has Jacob - the only fleshed-out character in the entire series.
The third and fourth books are embarrassing in their hideousness.
Jen...I TOTALLY agree. He was just meh without the beard. But is transformed into a nice, lumberjacky looking dude with the facial hair. The beard makes the man!
Julia....love this line....."embarrassing in their hideousness".....can I use that sometime in one of my reviews. I love it!
